Our Interviewing Process
Here at the PPF, we pride ourselves on having a transparent and collaborative interview process. We are keen to not only understand your current skills and experiences and how they relate to the vacancy you have applied for but to take time to answer your questions and queries.
Typically our interviews are a mixture of technical and competency/values questions that help us build a picture of how you could make a contribution to the success of the PPF. For some roles we may include additional elements such as online testing, role plays or presentations but we will always ensure that you receive full guidance and support. If you are invited to attend an interview, we will send you a confirmation email with supporting documents that will assist and guide you in your preparation. We’re looking for an experienced Senior Pensions Administrator to join our team.
We always put our members at the heart of everything. As a Senior Pensions Administrator you will ensure member’s needs are met by dealing with their enquiries in an efficient and friendly way. You will take responsibility for ensuring Service Level Agreements are met by managing your own work and providing support to your team. Give guidance to our Pension Administrators, where needed, to ensure responses to members are timely, accurate and jargon free. With a high level of technical expertise you will handle cases of varying complexity, and regularly review the effectiveness and efficiency of existing systems and controls.
Our ideal candidate will have a Retirement Provisions Certificate, a Diploma or Certificate in Pensions Administration. Experience of working in a similar Defined Benefit pensions role and a knowledge of the relevant statutory frameworks is essential. We welcome applications from customer focused individuals with excellent written and verbal communication skills, and proven attention to detail. We are also looking for great organisational and time management skills with the ability to work well under pressure.
